Discipleship Training

An organizational assessment is a process of taking a step back to reflect and look at the various areas of the organization in regards to what is working and what could be different. An assessment helps to create an objective view of an organization’s current reality in regards to its funding streams, work flow processes, organizational structure, outcomes measurement, client satisfaction, employee turnover, board development, etc. It is a full systems view of where the organization stands that enables management to leverage its current assets as well as choose to do some things differently in order to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in achieving the organization’s mission. The organizational assessment can help to guide a group discussion about the operations of a nonprofit organization Ideally, this group discussion would be comprised of senior staff, board members, volunteers and other stakeholders.

Key Considerations
